Former Socialist minister and MP Andreas Loverdos announced on Tuesday that he will form a new party to run in the upcoming European elections.
Former Socialist minister and MP Andreas Loverdos announced on Tuesday that he will form a new party to run in the upcoming European elections.
Loverdos said, in an interview with state broadcaster ERT, that his party will stand politically “between New Democracy and PASOK” and it will serve as a vehicle for him to run for the European parliament.
He also ruled out the possibility of his party cooperating with ruling New Democracy.
