Libya's note to Greece: 'Türkiye has considerable influence'

According to the news in the Greek media, "(Türkiye) has a considerable influence" on the Libyan interim government.
In a letter to the Greek Ambassador to Libya Nikos Garilidis, the Libyan interim administration said that the area where Greece is conducting seismic surveys south of the island of Crete is under Libyan jurisdiction.
According to Kathimerini daily Vasilis Nedos, the Libyan letter was sent shortly before Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis travelled to Ankara for talks with Turkish President Tayyip Erdoğan.
"Greece always follows international law in all its actions," authorised sources told Kathimerini, adding that the Greek Foreign Ministry would respond to the note "in the appropriate language" within a few days.
The newspaper wrote that "Türkiye's involvement in the issue has raised suspicions" and assessed that Turkey "has a considerable influence" on the Libyan interim government due to its agreement with Libya.
