Independent MP Pappas joins PASOK-KINAL Parliamentary Group
The independent MP Petros Pappas joined the PASOK-Movement for Change Parliamentary Group. The leader of PASOK Nikos Androulakis received Pappas at his office in the Parliament.
"I want to thank Petros Pappas for his decision to join PASOK and our Parliamentary Group so that we can fight together for the expansion of the party, but above all for the necessary political change that the country needs. We are facing a government of arrogance and negligence, a government that shows no respect for the Greek people," Androulakis said.
Pappas said that PASOK is the only credible and alternative government proposal for Greece. "PASOK is the party that brought national reconciliation, created the welfare state, brought gender equality, and allowed Greeks to dream of a better future for themselves and their children," he added.
