Greece sees rising temperatures with mild conditions this week

Fair weather is expected across Greece on Tuesday, according to the Hellenic National Meteorological Service, with a slight rise in temperatures and brief cloud cover in mainland areas during the afternoon.

Local showers are possible in mountainous parts of eastern Macedonia and Thrace, while visibility may be limited in western regions early in the day. Winds will remain generally light, reaching up to 6 Beaufort in parts of the Aegean.

Temperatures are forecast to reach 24 to 26 degrees Celsius on the mainland and 21 to 23 degrees on the islands.

Similar conditions are expected to continue on Wednesday, with mostly clear skies and only isolated light rain in northern areas.

Toward the end of the week, cloud cover will increase, bringing scattered showers mainly in central and northern regions. Winds will strengthen from southern directions, and African dust is expected to affect the atmosphere.

Temperatures will gradually rise further, reaching above seasonal averages by the weekend.

East Macedonia, Thrace weather outlook

Partly cloudy conditions are expected in Macedonia and Thrace, with cloud cover temporarily increasing during midday and afternoon, especially in mountainous areas of eastern Macedonia and Thrace where isolated showers may occur.

Winds will be variable at 3 to 4 Beaufort.

Temperatures will range from 8 to 25 degrees Celsius, with values in Thrace 2 to 3 degrees lower.
