Greece organises joint air exercises with the participation of 11 countries
It was announced that the exercise to be organised by Greece will start on 8 April and will last 10 days. Countries such as the USA, France and the United Kingdom are participating in the air exercise.
In the statement released by the Greek Air Force Command, it was stated that the "INIOHOS 2024" exercise will be held at Andravida Air Base with the participation of the Greek Cyprus, the USA, France, the United Kingdom, Spain, Qatar, Montenegro, Romania and Saudi Arabia.
France's RAFALE and E-3F AEW, the United Kingdom's Typhoon, the United States' F-16 and MQ-9 Unmanned Aerial Vehicle, Spain's F-18, Qatar's RAFALE, Romania's F-16 aircraft and Saudi Arabia's Typhoon fighter aircraft, the SCGA's AW139, Montenegro's B-414 helicopters will participate in the exercise, "Athens will be held in the wider area of the FIR line," the statement said.
Austria and Portugal will participate in the exercise with intelligence and special forces personnel, while Germany will send an observer group, the statement said.
Starting on 8 April, the air exercise will end on 18 April.
