Free books through DYPA: Who is eligible and how to get them

The Greek Public Employment Service (DYPA) has published the provisional lists of beneficiaries, eligible participants and excluded applicants for its 2026 book voucher program, offering 150,000 vouchers worth €25 each.

The provisional lists for the 2026 DYPA book voucher program, along with the Register of participating providers, have been published on the organization's official website.

The program provides 150,000 book vouchers, each worth €25 including VAT, with a total budget of €3.75 million.

Applicants included in the provisional lists had the right to submit one objection against the results. The deadline was Saturday, August 22, 2026, at 11:59 p.m.

Applicants submitting an objection were required to clearly state the grounds for their appeal, such as an incorrect points calculation or fulfillment of the program's eligibility requirements. They must also support their claims by attaching scanned copies of the relevant documentation electronically.

The procedure for proving eligibility and meeting the points-based criteria is detailed in the relevant appendix of the public invitation. Applicants were advised to consult the appendix carefully to ensure that the appropriate supporting documents were submitted.

DYPA noted that objections submitted by any other method than electronically would not be considered.

When can the vouchers be used?
The program will run from September 1 through December 31, 2026.

The voucher is issued in the form of a unique electronic code. Beneficiaries and eligible participants can use the code to purchase books at participating bookstores and publishing houses included in DYPA's Register of Providers.

The program also offers a 10% discount on the selected books, allowing beneficiaries to choose titles from participating providers during the four-month period.

The initiative is designed to support access to books while also providing financial support to participating bookstores and publishers.
