Fatal injury to man who fell down a manhole

A middle-aged man was fatally injured after falling down a manhole several metres deep
The incident occurred early in the afternoon in Xylokeratia, Kilkis, under unclear circumstances, while 14 firefighters with five vehicles arrived directly at the scene to retrieve the 55-year-old man from the well.
Pre-investigation for the incident is carried out by the Kilkis police station.
