Domestic violence against women to be discussed in Komotini
The Youth and Volunteering Center (exagono) will organize the event together with the Social Counseling Development Cooperative Enterprise "Thrace Motivation" (ΚοινΣΕπ «Θράκης Κίνητρο»") operating as a non-governmental organization in the Rhodope province.
The event, where forms of domestic violence against women will be discussed, will be held on Friday, March 17, 2023, at 18.00, at the Youth and Volunteering Center (exagono) at 15 Pezodromos N. Tsanaklis.
The event will talk about the forms of domestic violence (physical, emotional, and sexual abuse) that women are victims of, as well as social and legal interventions.
Social Services Specialist-Author Efi Gountoudaki will share with the participants the real stories in her book "What I Want to Say" and her views on issues related to forms of child abuse with an interactive method.
Vasiliki Theologia, Doctor of Criminology from Trakya Dimokritos University Faculty of Law, will inform the participants about legal interventions against violence against women. Certificates of participation will be given at the end of the event.
