Gümülcine Mufti’s Office organizes Women’s picnic to strengthen social bonds
The gathering took place in the Koca Çay area, commonly known locally as the Menetler village stream, in Rhodope.
Women attending Qur’an courses in both Rhodope and Meriç participated in the event, along with their instructors.
The picnic served as a social and spiritual gathering where participants emphasized the importance of solidarity, sharing, and strengthening community ties. Throughout the day, attendees engaged in conversations and group activities aimed at reinforcing social cohesion.
Organizers noted that such events contribute to building stronger interpersonal relationships among course participants and provide opportunities for community interaction beyond the classroom setting.
At the end of the day-long program, participants expressed satisfaction with the gathering and voiced hope for similar future events.
