Deputy Foreign Minister Kostas Fragogiannis submitted his resignation to Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis on January 17, citing personal reasons. The Prime Minister accepted the resignation and extended his gratitude to Fragogiannis for his service.
Tasos Hatzivasileiou, MP from Serres, has been appointed as the new Deputy Foreign Minister responsible for Economic Diplomacy and Extroversion.
Fragogiannis will continue to serve as an unpaid advisor to the Prime Minister on extroversion-related matters.
The swearing-in ceremony for the new Deputy Foreign Minister is scheduled for Monday.
