Aid payments for women farmers with three or more children to be distributed tomorrow

This aid is provided through the Agricultural Family Assistance Account, managed by OPEKA, and is available to women farmers whose applications have been approved.

The program, in collaboration with the Ministry of Agricultural and Rural Development, aims to improve the living standards of women farmers living in rural areas. The aid amounts are set at €700 for women farmers with three children and €1,000 for those with more than three children. The payments will be transferred directly to the bank accounts provided during the application process.

In total, €2,018,900 will be distributed to 2,651 women farmers, of which 544 are women with four or more children, and 2,107 are women with three children. The government's support seeks to economically empower women in rural areas and improve the quality of life for families in the agricultural sector.

The payments will be made on September 20th, and the program will run in parallel with other social support measures aimed at mothers. This initiative stands out as a significant form of support for women working in agriculture.
