The 39th Congress of the Confederation of Civil Servants’ Unions (ADEDY) has decided to call a 24-hour nationwide strike in the public sector on Tuesday, 16 December 2025, in protest against the New Democracy government’s budget, according to an official announcement.
At the same time, the ADEDY Congress expressed its full solidarity with ongoing farmers’ protests and the roadblocks set up by farmers across the country.
