A message via 112 was sent to residents of the regions of Epirus, Western Greece, the Ionian Islands as well as the Western Peloponnese, warning them of dangerous weather conditions in the next 24 hours and calling on them to avoid unnecessary travel.

According to the weather forecast, heavy rain and thunderstorms as well as hail and temporary strong winds are expected in the Ionian islands, Epirus, western Greece, the Peloponnese and the Western Cyclades islands from the afternoon. Heavy rain will fall in Thessaly and central Greece.
