A message from Theodorikakos from Kastanies
Citizen Protections Minister Takis Theodorikakos during his visit to Evros, gave strong message about human trafficking.
The Greek police in the region of Evros, is a very strong shield of protection for the country's borders, stated Citizen Protections Minister Takis Theodorikakos from the border post of Kastanies on Sunday adding that 150 human traffickers were arrested in the first four months of 2022.
According to AMNA, Theodorikakos, who is paying, as he said, a visit of operational character to the extreme Greek region of Evros, he visited police units on the borderline of Evros accompanied by the Chief of the Greek Police Konstantinos Skoumas and Deputy Citizen Protection Minister Lefteris Economou,
"The visit of the political and natural leadership of the Greek Police to Evros has an operational character and sends a strong, substantial and symbolic message. THe Greek Police, in excellent collaboration with the Greek Army and in total unity with the citizens of Evros constitute a very strong protection shield for our borders. The Greek and also European borders with Turkey. We are determined to enhance our deterrent force and to put a halt to those that instrumentalise miserable people, the undocumentated migrants.
