They are two foreigners aged 27 and 53, against whom a case file was filed for the establishment of a criminal group (gang), transportation, securing residence, facilitating the promotion of illegal immigrants within the country and preparation - supply of forged documents.

The perpetrators, acting together and in an organized manner, transported illegal immigrants to various accommodations in Rhodes, supplying them at the same time with fake certificates of residence in the country (asylum application cards), in order to facilitate their stay in Greece until it is possible to transfer them to other countries of the European Union, for the purpose of speculation and their illegal financial gain.

Also, in addition to the fake certificates, they were supplied with ship tickets from Rhodes with a final destination of Piraeus with an intermediate transfer station in Chalki.

They were found on Saturday night by patrolling police officers of the DI.AS Team. to board a car, with which a little earlier they had transported and dropped off irregular immigrants at a hotel accommodation.

In the possession of the perpetrators were found and confiscated:

-7 ferry tickets

-2 asylum seeker cards

-2 mobile phones

-1 Laptop

-1 document printer and

-250 euros

During the investigation of the case, three illegal immigrants were identified, whom the perpetrators facilitated by providing them with accommodation and providing them with forged travel documents and tickets in order to travel to Athens.

In the possession of the illegal immigrants, 2 fake asylum cards were found and confiscated.
