Two people were detained while trying to bring 31 migrants into the country illegally.
31 migrants detected with heartbeat detection devices at Kipi border crossing

At the Kipi border crossing, 31 migrants trying to enter the country illegally were caught by the customs authorities.

As a result of the controls carried out yesterday (11 January Thursday), a total of 31 migrants were caught in two separate vehicles. During the control carried out by the police teams of the Passport Control Branch of the Kipi Border Gate with the help of a heartbeat detection device, 21 migrants were detected in the first and 10 migrants in the second vehicle trailers.

It is stated that mobile phones and some money found in the vehicles were seized and two smugglers were referred to the competent prosecutor's office.
