Construction materials have been hiked again

According to the data of the State Statistical Institute ELSTAT, a 12.4 percent increase was recorded in building materials in September.

ELSTAT announced that the rate of increase in construction materials was 5.1 percent in September 2021, and this rate increased to 12.4 percent in September 2022.

ELSTAT, listed the increase rates seen in some building materials as follows:

Brick 29.5 percent, rebar 18.1 percent, parquet 17.3 percent, timber 12.4 percent, ready-mixed concrete 12.1 percent, cement 8.2 percent, copper pipes 5.5 percent, interior doors 9.8 percent.
