Annual 1.8% increase in industrial output index
Greece’s Overall Industrial Production Index in February recorded an increase of 1.8% compared with February 2025. The Overall IPI in February 2025 increased by 6.7% compared with the corresponding index in February 2024, the Hellenic Statistical Authority (ELSTAT) said on Thursday.
The seasonally adjusted Overall Industrial Production Index in February 2026 recorded a decrease of 0.9% compared with the corresponding index of January 2026. There was an increase of 2.9% in the Manufacturing Index. There was also a decrease of 1.0% in the index of Water Supply, of 1.4% in that of Electricity Supply and of 8.4% in the Mining and Quarrying one.
The average Overall Industrial Production Index for the period from January to February 2026 recorded an increase of 3.6% compared with the average IPI of the period from January to February 2025.
