The first issue of "Bağlar" published
The first issue of "Bağlar" (Bonds), the new voice of Turkish literature in the Balkans, has been published.
The first issue of the new magazine "Bağlar", which deals with Turkish literature in the Balkans by the Presidency for Turks Abroad and Related Communities (YTB), has been published.
Ali Işık is the editor-in-chief of the Bağlar magazine, which started its publication life as the Journal of Literature, Thought and Culture.
Murat Arslan will serve as the news Editor-in-Chief. Erkan Girit will serve as the editorial consultant, while Sibel Kılıç will serve as the general editor.
The works of Hüseyin Mehmet, Beyzanur İmam, Esma Delihasan and Müberra Karadayı from Western Thrace were published in the first issue of Bağlar, which has a wide staff of writers and poets devoted to Turkish literature in Balkan countries.
YTB, made the following statement: "Bağlar, which started its life with the file 'Turkish Literature in the Balkans', is preparing to become one of the most important channels of Turkish literature in the Balkans."
