SKY express launches new direct route between Athens and Berlin
Greek carrier SKY express has launched a new direct route connecting Athens and Berlin, with four weekly flights operating every Monday, Thursday, Friday, and Sunday. The service officially began on October 16.
Following routes to Munich, Frankfurt, and Düsseldorf, and with Hamburg soon to be added, the German capital becomes another key European destination for the airline, further strengthening its footprint in the German market.
The new connection is operated using Airbus A320neo and A321neo aircraft. “With this new service, SKY express now operates 27 international routes, reaffirming its commitment to strategic markets that promote Greece’s outward focus and year-round tourism appeal,” the company said in a statement.
By the end of 2025, SKY express plans to expand its network even further, adding new direct routes from Athens to Lisbon, Madrid, Hamburg, Lyon, and Tel Aviv, along with additional links between Thessaloniki–Düsseldorf and Heraklion–Tirana.
