SKY express launches direct flights between Athens and Lisbon
SKY express has launched a new direct service between Athens and Lisbon, strengthening air connectivity between Greece and Portugal.
The route, operated with Airbus A320neo and A321neo aircraft, will run three times a week, on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays.
A reception marking the inaugural flight was held at Lisbon Airport, attended by representatives of the Greek Embassy, senior airport officials, SKY express founder Ioannis Grylos, and company executives.
Lisbon is the latest addition to SKY express’s expanding international network, which is expected to reach 27 destinations by the end of the year.
The airline also plans to introduce new direct routes to Madrid, Hamburg, Lyon, and Tel Aviv, as well as new connections linking Thessaloniki with Düsseldorf and Heraklion with Tirana.
