Religious knowledge contest held in Kardzhali
The competition, which was attended by children from all over Kardzhali who participated in summer Quran courses, was held with great enthusiasm and excitement.
The program opened with a recitation of the Ashr-i Sharif by Nurullah Taşkın, the Imam of Kardzhali New Mosque. Following this, Kardzhali Regional Mufti Basri Eminefendi delivered a welcoming speech and wished the contestants success.
After the opening speeches, the competition began. It was held in three rounds:
In the first round, the children took a basic religious knowledge test.
In the second round, they answered questions related to fundamental religious knowledge.
In the third round, they recited memorized surahs and prayers.
The challenging task of being a jury member was undertaken by Ahmed Bozov, Principal of the Mestanli Theological High School, Selim Mehmed, Director of the Mestanli Imam Training Course, and Ibrahim Oral, Religious Officer of Koşukavak.
The children who participated in the summer Quran courses competed in four levels and three age groups:
Group 1 (Ages 7-10)
Group 2 (Ages 11-13)
Group 3 (Ages 14-17)
Those who attended the course throughout the year competed in two age groups:
Juniors (Ages 7-12)
Seniors (Ages 13-17)

All students who placed in the competition were awarded prizes, certificates of appreciation, and cash rewards.
During the breaks between the competition stages, riddles and religious questions were posed to the children in the audience, and those who answered correctly were given prizes.
At the end of the competition, food was served to all participants.
