Kosovo's Turkish digital magazine 'Genç Kalemler' launches
In a written statement, KOTGEP announced that "Genç Kalemler," prepared by Turkish youth from Kosovo under the platform’s umbrella, has published its inaugural issue. The magazine aims to preserve the Turkish identity in Kosovo and promote Turkish language and literature in the digital space.
The publication serves as a voice for the Turkish youth in Kosovo, featuring articles on current topics, cultural content, interviews, and essays penned by young writers.
Committed to keeping Turkish cultural heritage and language alive in Kosovo, "Genç Kalemler" is available for free online.
According to the 2011 census, 18,738 Turks live in Kosovo. The Turkish community has a long tradition of publishing magazines and newspapers to protect their cultural identity in the country.
