The Bulgarian Religious Affairs of Muslims Chief Mufti announced that a 50-person convoy organized by the Chief Mufti set out for Umrah at the beginning of the month of Ramadan.

According to the statement made by the Chief Mufti of the Bulgarian Muslims Diyanet, a convoy of 50 people organized by the Chief Mufti set out for Umrah at the beginning of Ramadan.

Muslims set out for Mecca and Medina in the hope that their worship would be more acceptable to Allah in the holy month and to feel a different spiritual atmosphere of the Kaaba at this time of year.

Umrah pilgrims are currently performing their prayers in Mecca and Medina under the guidance of Jamal Isa, Head of the Hajj Department of the Grand Mufti.

Umrah program includes 9 days in Mecca and 3 days in Medina. During this time, believers will visit historical sites and mosques.

The next Umrah organization planned by the Chief Mufti will be in May. Those who want to visit Mecca and Medina can contact the Hajj Department.
