Representative of the Palestinian Mission in Athens condemns Israeli aggression
Ambassador Yussef Dorkhom, Representative of the Palestinian Mission in the Greek capital Athens, called on the international community to "condemn Israeli aggression".
Ambassador Dorkhom published a statement on social media due to the Israeli army's attacks on the blockaded Gaza Strip.
"The international community must condemn Israeli aggression and help end Israel's ongoing, ever-expanding illegal occupation," Dorkhom said.
Pointing out that the Palestinian people have been repeatedly warned about the consequences of not allowing them to exercise their right to self-determination and to establish their own state for a long time, Dorkhom said
"Security, stability and peace in our region can only be achieved by ending Israel's occupation of the territory of the State of Palestine according to the 1967 borders with East Jerusalem as its capital and recognising the right of the people to independence and national sovereignty."
"Aqsa Flood" named attack
The Kassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, launched the "Aqsa Flood" against Israel yesterday morning. named after a man who had been killed in the attack.
While thousands of rockets were fired from Gaza towards Israel, armed groups entered settlements in the region. The Israeli army announced that it launched an attack on the Gaza Strip with dozens of warplanes.
The Palestinian Ministry of Health announced that 313 people were killed and 1990 people were wounded in Israel's attacks on Gaza.
It was announced in the Israeli press that 350 Israelis have been killed so far in the attacks launched by the armed wing of Hamas, and the number of wounded across the country has risen to 1864.
