Zafer Sırakaya: “We will continue to defend Dr. Sadık Ahmet's 'just' case”
Zafer Sırakaya, the Deputy Chairman of the AK Party and responsible for Foreign Relations, met with Funda Sadık Ahmet, the daughter of the late Dr. Sadık Ahmet. During their discussion, they focused on cases involving the Turkish Minority of Western Thrace that have been brought before international courts.
Following the meeting, Sırakaya shared a message on social media, stating:
“We had discussions with Funda Sadık Ahmet, the daughter of the late Dr. Sadık Ahmet, who is the symbol of the struggle for the rights and identity of the Turkish people of Western Thrace, regarding cases involving our people at international courts and the decisions made about them.
As Turkey and the AK Party, we will continue to stand by our brothers and sisters in Western Thrace on all international platforms, as we have in the past, and will continue to defend the 'just' cause of the late Dr. Sadık Ahmet.”
