The association selected its new leadership with the aim of further developing economic, commercial, and business relations between Türkiye and Greece.

Following the general assembly, Enes Güneş was elected Chairman of the Board of Directors, while Philippos Costopoulos was appointed Vice Chairman. The new board members include Theodora Dreki Dağli, I. Olşen Gözübüyük, and Melissa Dik Karadere.

Mutlu Erkek, Fatma Hoca, and Panagiotis Mountzouronis were elected to serve on the association’s Supervisory Board.

The new administration expressed its gratitude to the interim board members Mutlu Erkek, Mehmet Göktuğ İçten, and Efe Can Ege, as well as all founding members and Türkiye’s Commercial Counselor at the Embassy in Athens, Hamid Tatcı, for their contributions during the establishment process.

YUTIAD-ETSE said it aims to move beyond traditional networking activities by building a long-term and trust-based bridge between the business communities of Türkiye and Greece.

The association plans to focus on strategic sectors where the two economies can complement each other, including maritime and logistics, renewable energy, LNG projects, electricity interconnection initiatives, tourism cooperation, real estate, technology, construction, food, and services.

The organization aims to create new business opportunities by combining Greece’s strength in maritime trade with Türkiye’s shipbuilding and manufacturing capabilities.
