YTB President Turus congratulates Asafoğlu on re-election as FEP Party leader
Abdülhadi Turus, President of the Presidency for Turks Abroad and Related Communities (YTB), congratulated Çiğdem Asafoğlu on her re-election as the leader of the Friendship, Equality, and Peace Party (FEP Party).
In his statement, Turus said:
“We congratulate Ms. Çiğdem Asafoğlu and her colleagues on being re-elected as the leader of the FEP Party.
The FEP Party, which has consistently advocated for the rights of the Western Thrace Turks, is expected to continue its work in the new term with the same dedication and responsibility. We wish them continued success.
We remain committed to supporting the Western Thrace Turks in defending their rights and pursuing their just cause.”
The message highlights ongoing support from Turkish authorities for the political representation and advocacy efforts of the Western Thrace Turkish community in Greece.
