Young people gather for book discussion event in Gümülcine

The Youth Coordination Office of the Gümülcine Mufti’s Office continues its literary activities with a series of book discussion events aimed at encouraging young people to develop reading habits and engage in cultural dialogue.
The latest meeting of the book club was held on Friday, July 24, 2026, where participants discussed Güray Süngü’s youth novel “Ben Neden Bu Kadar Böyle.”
During the event, young participants shared their thoughts, interpretations and criticisms about the book in an open discussion environment.
The conversation focused on themes such as respecting differences, self-acceptance, self-confidence and the influence of role models on personal development.
The book discussion concluded in a friendly atmosphere with participants receiving new books as gifts.
The Youth Coordination Office of the Gümülcine Mufti’s Office announced that similar activities supporting young people’s reading habits and cultural engagement will continue in the future.
