A young member of the local Turkish community living in the Harmanlık neighborhood of Gümülcine tragically took his own life on Tuesday, September 9, 2025.
A young member of the local Turkish community living in the Harmanlık neighborhood of Gümülcine tragically took his own life on Tuesday, September 9, 2025.
According to reliable sources obtained by Millet News, the 28-year-old man was originally from Gerdeme Village in the Kozlukebir Municipality and had been residing in Harmanlık-Gümülcine.
Known among neighbors for his quiet and reserved nature, he was found hanging in his family’s private garage by his mother on the morning of September 9.
The funeral is scheduled for Wednesday, September 10, 2025, following the afternoon prayer, at the Kahveci Cemetery in Gümülcine.
