Yassıköy Municipality to open an Agriculture Office!
The opening of the Agricultural Office, which was among the pre-election promises of Yassıköy Mayor Caner Imam, is expected to open in mid-February.
Mayor Caner Imam announced that the "Agricultural Development Office" will be staffed by two agricultural engineers from Yassıköy Municipality.
Imam said that an agricultural engineer will be on duty to find solutions to the problems faced by farmers, especially in Susurköy and Yassıköy on the days of the public market. The agricultural engineers in the agricultural office will also provide counselling services to the farmers in the municipality.
Engineers will provide support and detailed information to farmers on issues such as agricultural declaration and field rental.
"We want to help our municipality members, be with them and have a good co-operation with everyone." Caner İmam said that the powers and responsibilities of the new office to be established will be determined by the decision of the Municipal Council.
