Yassıköy Health Center holds information campaign
Under the "PROLAMVANO" program for adults and the oral health program for young students, informative talks were held to raise awareness.
The Yassıköy Health Center, under the auspices of the 4th Regional Health Directorate, successfully completed an extensive awareness and information campaign as part of the "PROLAMVANO" program. The program, which covers almost all age groups, aims to promote the early detection of major chronic diseases that cause premature death in our country, and to offer free screening tests for breast cancer, cervical cancer, and colorectal cancer.
On Thursday, Dr. Vasiliki Pahoumi gave a talk to the women residents of Cambaz village. On Friday, Dr. Athanasia Georgiadou, along with health officer Sedef Deli, informed the citizens and employees of Yassıköy Municipality at the town square.
Oral Health Education for Arabacıköy Minority Primary School Students
The Yassıköy Health Center's informational activities were not limited to these events. On Thursday, February 6, a team from the Health Center visited Arabacıköy Minority Primary School to provide oral health education to young students. It was emphasized that through the Ministry of Health’s health education initiatives for students, the aim is not only to raise awareness but also to lay the foundation for a healthy lifestyle.
