YAKA I.K.E. from Gümülcine participates in FRUIT LOGISTICA 2026 in Berlin
The Regional Administration of Eastern Macedonia and Thrace (EMT) announced its participation in FRUIT LOGISTICA 2026, held in Berlin, Germany, from 4 to 6 February 2026—one of the world’s leading international trade fairs for the fresh fruit and vegetable sector.
According to the official statement, the region showcased its agri-food production capacity and export potential at the global event, aiming to strengthen its presence in European and international markets.
Among the participating companies was YAKA I.K.E., operating in the Yaka area of Komotini and chaired by businessman Levent Sadik Ahmet.
Regional Companies at the Fair
The following companies from Eastern Macedonia and Thrace took part in the exhibition:

- Kato Nevrokopi Potato Agricultural Cooperative
During the fair, participating firms conducted B2B meetings with international buyers and distributors, seeking to expand export networks and establish new commercial partnerships.
The regional administration emphasized that participation in international trade fairs plays a key role in strengthening business connections between local producers and European markets, enhancing both visibility and competitiveness in the agri-food sector.
