Xanthi: Three arrests for drug possession

66.5 grams of raw cannabis, a cannabis cigarette and an electronic precision scale were seized
In the context of targeted actions to combat the spread of drugs, 8 persons were arrested in the period from 31-08-2023 to 06-09-2023 in areas of Eastern Macedonia and Thrace, by police officers of the Police Directorates of Drama, Kavala, and Xanthi, against whom six separate cases were formed for violations of drug legislation.
In particular, during the above period the police officers carried out checks during which they found and seized from three houses, a vehicle and the possession of the men in each case, a total of 66.5 grams of raw cannabis, a cannabis cigarette and an electronic precision scale.
More specifically, three persons were arrested in areas of Drama, two in Kavala and three in an area of Xanthi.
