Xanthi the 4th hottest province in the country on Wednesday

Xanthi was the fourth province in the country where the highest temperatures were measured on Wednesday 17 July.
The very high temperatures in the country will continue at least until Sunday 21 July.meteo.gr - According to the National Observatory of Athens, the highest temperature on Wednesday 17 July was 42.2 degrees Celsius in Oleni, Ilia.
Oleni was followed by Skala, Messinia (42.0 °C) and Gavalou, Etoloakarnania (41.7 °C).According to the temperature table published by Meteo, the temperature in Xanthi was 41.6 centigrade.
A high temperature (41.5) was also recorded in Paranesti in Drama.
Meanwhile, it was noted that the very high temperatures in the country will continue at least until Sunday, 21 July, as the hot air masses affecting most of Eastern Europe and the Balkans will continue their effect.
