Xanthi Minority Secondary School - High School is 59 years old
In the statement made on the occasion of the anniversary of the establishment of the school, the Xanthi Minority Secondary School - High School Board of Councillors emphasised the problem of the school building and said:
"As the Board of Councillors, we wish once again to have a new school building on this occasion and we express that it is essential that our children continue to receive education under better physical conditions as soon as possible."
The statement is as follows:
"The Xanthi Minority Secondary School - High School, which was established with the law adopted on 10 May 1965, is 59 years old as of today.
Our school, which is the only Minority Secondary School and High School of Xanthi province, has trained many scientists for the Muslim Turkish Community in Western Thrace. As the Board of Councillors, we wish once again to have a new school building on this occasion and we express that it is essential that our children continue to receive education in better physical conditions as soon as possible.
On this occasion, we hope that the anniversary of the establishment of our school will be beneficial to all our students, parents and teachers, and we wish success to all our students, especially the students of our school, in the end-of-year exams that will start soon."
