Western Thracian Eren Osman becomes a mathematics champion
Emre Osman, one of the twins of Zekeriya Osman, Vice President of the Bursa Branch of the Western Thrace Turks Solidarity Association, won the the Mathematics Olympiad in Türkiye.
Emre Osman and Eren Osman, twin children of Zekeriya Osman, who are from Kalfa village of Komotini Municipality, returned with medals from every competition they entered so far.
Eren Osman achieved a great success by taking the first place in Türkiye in the 26th National Antalya Mathematics Olympiads held this year.
Emre Osman on the other hand was selected to the Turkish Mathematics Olympic National Team, which consists of six students.
He, together with his teammaets participated in the competition held in Norway and returned to his country with a medal.
589 competitors from 104 countries participated in the 63rd International Mathematics Olympiad competition held in Oslo, the capital of Norway.
The competition was held between 6-16 July.
The twin brothers said that they will work harder in the future to add new ones to the performance and success they have shown so far.
