Western Thrace Turkish Minority delegation meets Turkish Deputy Foreign Minister Bozay in Ankara

A delegation representing the Western Thrace Turkish Minority met with Turkish Deputy Foreign Minister and Director for EU Affairs Ambassador Mehmet Kemal Bozay during an official visit to Ankara on June 3.
The delegation included Western Thrace Turkish Minority Advisory Board President and Mufti of İskeçe Mustafa Trampa, Mufti of Gümülcine İbrahim Şerif, and President of the Komotini Turkish Youth Union Sedat Hasan.
According to a statement shared on the official social media accounts of Türkiye’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Deputy Minister Bozay met with the delegation as part of ongoing engagements with representatives of the Western Thrace Turkish community.
The meeting was held on Wednesday, June 3, and was also confirmed through public communications by the Turkish Foreign Ministry, which noted the participation of the delegation’s leading figures.
