Western Thrace delegation holds contact in Istanbul

The Western Thrace delegation headed by İbrahim Şerif, Chairman of the Western Thrace Turkish Minority Advisory Board, held talks in Istanbul.
The Western Thrace delegation, which participated in the international seminar on "Human Rights Violations Against Muslims" organized in Istanbul by the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Turkey, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Turkey and the Independent Permanent Human Rights Commission of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, held talks in Istanbul after the seminar.
The delegation, headed by İbrahim Şerif, met with Cavit Çağlar, a former Deputy Prime Minister of Turkey, who is originally from Western Thrace, and former minister of state.
Receiving the Western Thrace delegation at his workplace in Istanbul, former prime minister Cavit Çağlar gave a luncheon on behalf of the delegation. Caglar stated that he was very pleased to spin the Western Thrace delegation. At the dinner meeting, the latest developments in Western Thrace were discussed and ideas were exchanged on the problems.
MEETING WITH MÜEZZİNOĞLU
Later, the Western Thrace delegation visited one of the former ministers, originally from Komotini (Gümülcine), Dr. Mehmet Müezzinoğlu at his workplace in Istanbul. The members of the delegation headed by İbrahim Şerif, the chairman of the Advisory Board, and Dr. Müezzinoğlu had the opportunity to talk in a friendly way and exchange ideas on Western Thrace.
The head of the delegation, İbrahim Şerif, stated that he would convey the greetings and respects of both former ministers to his Western Thrace kinsmen.
