Western Thrace Advisory Board re-elects Mufti Mustafa Trampa as chairman
According to an official statement, all decisions regarding the new appointments were adopted unanimously.
Mustafa Trampa Reappointed as Chairman
The board confirmed the re-election of Mustafa Trampa, the Mufti of Xanthi, as Chairman of the Advisory Board.
New Leadership Appointments
As part of the new structure:
Ahmet Kurt, Mayor of Myki (Mustafçova), was appointed Deputy Chairman responsible for the İskeçe region
Caner Imam, Mayor of Iasmos (Yassıköy), was named Deputy Chairman responsible for the Gümülcine region
Sedat Hasan will serve as Secretary-General
One-Year Mandate
The board stated that the newly assigned roles will be valid for one year, taking effect immediately upon publication of the decision.
Focus on Community Representation
In its statement, the Advisory Board extended its best wishes to the newly appointed members and expressed hope that the decisions will serve the interests of the Turkish minority community in Western Thrace.
