The Western Thrace Turkish Minority Advisory Board held a dinner in honor of Aykut Ünal, who started his duty as Türkiye's Consul General to Komotini on Wednesday, December 21, 2022.
Turkish Consul General Aykut Ünal, Consul Neslihan Altan, Vice-Consuls Barış Çulha, Subutay Koç and Deputy Attaché Güven Bora, Chairman of the Advisory Board of Western Thrace Turkish Minority and Mufti of Komotini İbrahim Şerif, Mufti of Xanthi Mustafa Trampa, Advisory Board members, invited representatives non-governmental organizations and minority press members attended.
Before the meal, Mufti İbrahim Şerif took the floor and gave information about the purpose of the dinner and wished the new Consul General Ünal success in his duty in Western Thrace.
Afterwards, Turkish Consul General Aykut Ünal greeted the participants and made a short speech too.
After the meal, the participants had the opportunity to talk and meet the new consul general.
Finally, a commemorative photo was taken.
