Water shortage continues in Kozlukebir Municipality

Mayor Hüseyin, who recently assumed office, highlighted the challenges his administration faces, including a €3 million debt left by the previous administration. He explained that the water shortage, which has become more severe due to drought conditions, is not a new problem but has worsened due to reduced rainfall and snow. He also mentioned ongoing efforts to address the issue, including new drilling projects to increase water availability in the affected areas.

Opposition leader Tarkan Multaza criticized the current administration for failing to address the water crisis effectively, particularly in the villages of Hacıköy, Dolapçılar, and Durhasanlar. He pointed out that the situation has been unresolved for over two months, despite promises of immediate action. Multaza called for a collaborative approach between the government and opposition to find lasting solutions, emphasizing that the water issue will only worsen if not addressed promptly.
