Turkish students ranked in the "recycling" competition
Students from Gümülcine Celal Bayar Minority Secondary and High School participated in the "recycling" competition organized by the Municipality of Komotini within the framework of the follow green program.
Celal Bayar Minority Secondary and High School students who participated in the "recycling" competition held in the Rhodope region received a certificate of appreciation.
The Municipality of Komotini successfully carries out the follow green program, which it started in order to protect the environment and nature, to prevent waste and to inform and raise awareness among citizens, especially students, on these issues.
Within the framework of Followgreen, the municipality periodically organizes competitions on metal, plastic, glass, paper and food in order to protect the environment and prevent waste, and rewards the winning schools and students with gifts.
2 students studying at Komotini Celal Bayar Minority Secondary and High School also participated in the competitions held in the Rhodope region between primary and secondary schools.
The schools ranked in the materials collected were announced by the municipality.
Celal Bayar Minority Secondary School and High School students, who participated in the paper recycling competition, succeeded in being ranked with the encouragement and support of the school administration, teachers and committees. Turkish students came second among the competing schools in the Rhodope region.
