In an official announcement made on the ministry's X account on Wednesday, January 29, 2025, the following remarks were included:
"On January 29, the anniversary of the symbolic march in the struggle for the rights of the Turkish Minority in Western Thrace, we once again emphasize that we will continue to stand by our compatriots and remain committed to monitoring their rights based on international law and agreements.
We hope for the implementation of the European Court of Human Rights’ rulings in favor of the Turkish Minority of Western Thrace."
