Turkish reporters in Greece are targeted by the state's ideological apparatus
Turkish journalists working in Greece continue to be the target of fascists with the recent tension in Turkish-Greek relations. First Anadolu Agency (AA) and then TRT's reporters working in Greece were made an open target by the racist news site tourkikanea.gr.
While the fascist website tourkikanea.gr has been harassing Turkish minority journalists for long years, now both Turkish and Greek citizen Anadolu Agency and TRT reporters became a target of the racist website.
The racist tourkikanea.gr site published the list of journalists belonging to the Western Thrace Turkish Minority working in Greece for AA and TRT Haber. The site targeting AA Athens Representative Tevfik Durul and photojournalist Ayhan Mehmet also published the names of Western Thrace Turks working for official institutions in Turkey. The racist website targeted TRT's Foreign Languages Director Nevzat Mehmet, YTB employee Recep Paçaman, Trakya University lecturer Ali Hüseyinoğlu, and TRT's Komotini reporter Necat Ahmet.
