The visit took place in Kireççiler, a village in İskeçe, where Consul General Ünal joined residents for Friday prayer at the village mosque before engaging in informal conversations with community members.
Accompanying Ünal during the meeting were prominent representatives of the Western Thrace Turkish minority, including:
