Trakya University Rector Hatipler visits Consul General Ünal
Trakya University Rector, Prof. Dr. Mustafa Hatipler, paid an official visit to Türkiye’s Consul General in Komotini, Aykut Ünal, at his office on March 17, Monday.
Accompanied by a delegation from Trakya University, Rector Hatipler's visit aimed to strengthen academic and cultural cooperation between the university and institutions in Western Thrace.
Following the meeting, the Consulate General of Türkiye in Komotini shared a statement on its official social media account, expressing gratitude for the visit:
"We had the pleasure of hosting Trakya University Rector Prof. Dr. Mustafa Hatipler and his delegation at our Consulate during their visit to our region. We sincerely thank the Rector and his team for their kind visit."
The visit highlighted Türkiye's ongoing support for the Turkish minority community in Western Thrace and reinforced the importance of educational collaboration in the region.
