Traffic accident in Komotini in the morning hours
There was a traffic accident in Komotini early this morning. While no one was injured in the accident involving two private vehicles, material damage occurred in the vehicles.
The traffic accident occurred on Yeni Yol (Leoforos Iroon) Street. In the accident, which is stated to have happened at around 08.00, a Toyota Yaris travelling from the military zone towards the city centre collided with a Toyota Auris coming from the one-way Evmolpu street in front of the main entrance gate of Komotini Celal Bayar Minority High School.
While the drivers, one of whom was a man and the other a woman, were not injured in the collision, material damage occurred on the front of both vehicles.
After the accident, police officers and an expert were called to the scene for damage assessment. The police officers and the expert got information from both car owners and prepared a report about the accident.
