Traditional Sahin Charity Bazaar held successfully
The traditional Sahin Charity Bazaar opened on Friday, August 15, with Hasan Hacıhasanoğlu as host. The event, jointly organized by the Sahin Education and Culture Association, Sahin Foundation, and Sahinspor Club, will run through Sunday, August 17, at the foundation grounds on the Sahin–Sinikova road.
Opening Ceremony and Guests
The opening was attended by community leaders and officials, including:
Mustafa Trampa, Mufti of İskeçe and Chairman of the Western Thrace Turkish Minority Advisory Board (represented by Deputy Mufti Ahmet Hraloğlu, who conveyed his greetings and wishes),
Hüseyin Zeybek, Member of Parliament for İskeçe,
Kerem Abdurrahimoğlu, President of the İskeçe Turkish Union,
Ozan Ahmetoğlu, Chairman of the İskeçe Minority Secondary and High School Committee,
Bahri Belço, Deputy Chairman of the FEP Party,
Önder Meçoğul, Head of the New Generation Movement.
Many residents of Sahin, regional council members, deputy mayors, municipal council members, and compatriots from İskeçe and surrounding villages also took part.
Bazaar Highlights
The bazaar features a variety of stalls offering clothing, gifts, traditional homemade dishes, and sweets. Popular items include köfte in bread and other local specialties, served throughout the day.
The organizing committee expressed gratitude to all those who contributed, sponsored, or supported the event through their participation and purchases.
Purpose
Proceeds from the bazaar will be shared among the Sahin Foundation, Sahin Education and Culture Association, and Sahinspor Club, supporting their ongoing activities.
The event will continue until late Sunday evening, August 17.
