Topsidis leaves the presidency
On Monday 20 November, during the board meeting in Xanthi, the President of the EMT Regional Council of Chambers of Commerce, Christodoulos Topsidis, announced his decision to step down from the presidency due to the increased obligations that will come with the assumption of the presidency of the province.
Topsidis, who served as president for six years without interruption, thanked the chamber presidents for their cooperation.
Subsequently, the DMT Council of Chambers of Commerce and Industry was headed by Stelios Moraitis, President of the Chamber of Commerce of Xanthi.
Topsidis remained on the council as the second vice-president, while Andonis Gravanis, President of the Rhodope Chamber of Tradesmen and Craftsmen, was elected as the fourth vice-president and Nikos Angelidis, President of the Rhodope Chamber of Commerce, as the fifth vice-president.
